The Industry Alliances Office (IAO) is a resource for faculty who are currently engaged with industry or who intend to have a relationship with industry. The IAO is responsible for negotiating all research contracts with private industry including: corporate sponsored research agreements, material transfer agreements for the receipt of research materials and data from outside sources, corporate collaboration agreements, membership agreements in industry affiliates programs, and the in-licensing of research tools. The IAO has consolidated and streamlined the procedures by which research contracts are executed and works collaboratively with the OTL as well as the University's Sponsored Projects Office, the Corporate and Foundation Relations Office, and various research compliance committees.
