You should check with your department for mentorship opportunities
with established faculty members.
The Junior Faculty Mentor Grant Program is designed
to assist junior faculty in their professional growth and progress
toward tenure.
Special consideration is given to junior faculty who contribute
to the diversity of the University through their research or
community service activities. The program provides modest monetary
support
for research-related activities (up to $1,000) to assistant professors
mentored by senior faculty members.
In addition, the Service-Learning Research and
Development Center Junior
Faculty Mentorship Program
links junior faculty with senior faculty to help them tie service-learning
to their scholarly work.
