The Committee on Teaching Instructional Minigrants offers modest funding (up to $1,000) for activities that go beyond your normal classroom responsibilities, and may fund certain costs of a field trip (excluding lodging, room rental, food, conference registration, travel, or entertainment expenses) on an application basis; check the grant guidelines online for precise criteria.

For faculty who wish their students to see shows at Cal Performances that are related to and will enhance the courses they are teaching, the Consortium for the Arts can arrange highly discounted ticket prices.
