Full-time Berkeley faculty are not eligible to receive additional compensation for giving a guest lecture on the Berkeley campus. However, faculty may receive nominal honoraria under the following circumstances:

• seminars or lectures presented on other campuses of the University;

• lectures or similar services in any University Extension program;

• concerts or other creative work, or participation in University-sponsored conferences or panels on any campus of the University.

The size of these honoraria varies, but cannot exceed $2,000 for a single event and the total annual compensation received for such services is limited to 10 percent of the faculty member’s base salary.
