Undergraduates may drop or add most classes up until Friday of the fifth week of the semester. All colleges with undergraduates adhere to this deadline, but procedures may differ among colleges. The Registrar's website has details.

There is a short list of Early Drop Deadline courses that cannot be dropped after Friday of the second week of the semester. These are courses that have historically experienced high initial demand and empty seats later in the term.

Changes to students’ schedules after these deadlines are extremely rare. However, if you come across a student who is in academic difficulty, refer them to a College advisor as soon as possible. Consult with your College or department for more information.
