Students concerned about their own or another's alcohol or drug use may come in to Social Services at University Health Services/Tang Center for a free, confidential assessment from a specialist. Students are encouraged to look at the impact of their use on their life, decide what, if any, changes they would like to make, and receive assistance in developing a plan. The unit offers individual and group counseling options and makes community referrals for treatment programs as needed.
