What resources are available for students who are having alcohol or other drug problems? prev next

Students concerned about their own or another's alcohol or drug use may come in to Social Services at University Health Services/Tang Center for a free, confidential assessment from a specialist. Students are encouraged to look at the impact of their use on their life, decide what, if any, changes they would like to make, and receive assistance in developing a plan. The unit offers individual and group counseling options and makes community referrals for treatment programs as needed. Visit the UHS website for links to community 12-step groups and more information. For an appointment with a specialist, phone 642-6074 or stop by the office, room 2280 Tang Center.
