Where should an undergraduate student go who is interested in community service or service-learning courses? prev next

Students who are interested in co-curricular service-learning activities
should contact Cal Corps Public Service Center (642-3916),
ccorps@berkeley.edu. Cal Corps is the campus office for student public service, leadership development, community development, and civic engagement through individual and student group resources, training, and programs. Scholarships, units, and wages are available. Professional and peer advisors are available to support students and faculty in making experiential community connections.

Students who are interested in participating in academic service-learning courses (faculty-taught departmental courses that include a community service component) should contact the Service-Learning Research and Development Center (642-3199). Students may access a list of courses by department and faculty instructor on the center's web page. Students and faculty are also encouraged to visit the center at 2195 Hearst Ave, Suite 101 for additional resources and information on service-learning.
