What University policies govern the use of the internet? prev next

The University of California Electronic Communications Policy governs all electronic communications, whether by the web or other developing media, and includes information on confidentiality and security. The UC Berkeley Computer Use Policy governs all campus computing and networking activities including user rights and responsibilities, appropriate use, and enforcement. In addition, the E-Berkeley Policy For Berkeley Campus Online Activities supplements the Electronic Communications Policy and the Computer Use Policy by outlining relevant information to guide UC Berkeley departments and individuals in creating their online presence; topics include use of the University name and seal, sponsorship and advertising, electronic mass mailings, student information disclosure, and other areas.
