The Office for Faculty Equity, headed by the Associate Vice Provost, monitors the hiring of new faculty and reviews reappointment, promotion, and tenure decisions to ensure compliance with affirmative action and equal opportunity employment policies. The Associate Vice Provost also advises untenured faculty about the tenure process and reviews the hiring of women and underrepresented faculty.
